Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) is one of the busiest airports in the Midwest — and a notoriously challenging place to coordinate a large group arrival. Multiple terminals, distant parking, flight delays, and a surge of rideshare traffic at the curb all conspire against groups trying to leave the airport together. A DTW airport group pickup charter bus (https://holidaycoach.com/services/airport-transfers) from Holiday Coach turns a chaotic arrival into a smooth, coordinated departure. Holiday Coach Company, headquartered in Coopersville, Michigan, has coordinated group pickups at Detroit Metro for over two decades. Our fleet of late-model motorcoaches, mini-coaches, and Sprinter vans serves groups of every size arriving at both the McNamara and Evans terminals. ## Why Groups Choose Charter Bus Airport Pickup at DTW **Flight tracking and on-time staging.** Our 24/7 dispatch monitors real-time arrivals. Your driver is staged curbside when your group lands — even if the flight is delayed. **Curbside coordination.** DTW's curb is congested and restricted. We coordinate terminal and door staging based on your group's arrival gate so boarding is fast and compliant with airport rules. **Luggage handling.** Our underfloor luggage bays hold checked bags, carry-ons, and equipment for groups up to 56 — no juggling bags across a parking garage. **Group cohesion.** The entire group leaves the airport together and arrives at the hotel, convention, or venue together. No stragglers lost in rideshare lines. ## Groups We Serve at DTW - **Corporate groups** arriving for conferences and events - **Sports teams** flying in for away games and tournaments - **Wedding guest groups** arriving for destination weddings - **Convention and trade show delegations** - **University groups** arriving for campus events and commencements ## Planning a DTW Group Pickup 1. **Share flight details.** Airline, flight number, arrival time, and terminal — we track and adjust. 2. **Count passengers and luggage.** We size the vehicle for your group and bag volume. 3. **Confirm the destination.** Hotel, venue, or final stop — we build the route. 4. **Coordinate contact.** A group lead meets the driver curbside for fast boarding. 5. **Book early.** Major event dates fill vehicles well ahead.
